Hammerheart Records are to reissue Gorerotted’s classic debut album ‘Mutilated In Minutes’ on both CD and picture disc vinyl, complete with bonus tracks. The currently out of print album was originally released in 2000 by Dead Again Records, then licensed for all territories outside of Europe by Relapse Records and was declared one of the Top 10 Gore albums of all time by Terrorizer Magazine. The ...album, which features such heart melting classics as ‘Gagged, Shagged, Bodybagged’ and ‘Put Your Bits In A Concrete Mix’
will also feature additional tracks ‘Limb By Limb’ and ‘Carrion Smelling’, both taken from the long out of print Deepsend Records 3-way split CD ‘Split Your Guts Vol. 1’ and a live recording of 'Cut, Beaten, Eaten' from a 2002 show in Wermeskirchen, Germany. The CD version of the album will also feature additional liner notes about the recording session by vocalist Ben ‘Goreskin’ McCrow, who along with Gorerotted founding member Tim “Fluffy” Carley currently performs in D-Beat Death Metal beast The Rotted. Says the band: “Gigs these days are often package tours ran by agencies, sponsored by energy drinks and have overblown ticket prices, so we decided it was time for us to return to our grass routes and put on a show featuring a line-up of quality UK bands that work hard to do things for themselves, in an independently owned venue that genuinely supports underground, extreme music. Going one better than the ‘£3 entry with this flyer’ gigs we used to do in the late ‘90s, entrance to this show –like all shows at the Unicorn- will be totally free!
